COMMERCIAL AIRLINE FLIGHTS – THE SERVICE IS GONE

Hopping on a commercial airline flight in the past was an adventure. You would be greeted by individuals who cared about you. Not just about your safety or herding you onto the plane but cared about you as an individual passenger and the entire staff worked collectively to ensure each and every passenger had the best overall experience. Unfortunately these days are long gone.

continentalplane Today the commercial airline industry is all about safety…or is it? When you look at where they spend their money it seems like little focus is put on what they claim to be their primary focus. Let’s face it, it is the airports themselves who are providing the safety and the airlines are merely a facilitator for it. Plus you are paying for security with the extra fees that are added onto your ticket.

Service very simply is not the focus in most businesses today. As things have hit a higher pace with the expansion of services and the growth of the internet, customer service has very simply taken a back seat to many other things and never before has it been as low on the priority list, at least for most companies.

This is the reason that many are turning to the private charter industry for their personal and business travel needs. By doing so they are receiving not only a safe and secure flight that is more direct then any they will receive from a commercial airline but they are also making a choice for a higher level of customer service and this can make or break the travel experience for most people.

When you arrive at your destination you want to feel well rested and relaxed, ready to take on whatever you face when you arrive and you very simply just can’t accomplish this on a commercial airline flight. If you are looking for a better way to travel then make sure that you get on board a private charter flight. It is the only way to travel if you are looking to have the experience of lifetime and enjoy the comfort and service that is being provided. The most positive travel experience will come from this superior mode of travel.

Success or failure it is a little difficult to tell at this point in time. An industry that used to be billed as friendly and honest has recently tossed aside that reputation for a new and less attractive one. Being seen by the general public as an industry that is just worried about itself will they ever come back to where they used to be in the eyes of the public? Will they ever look to return to being a customer service based industry? Well, the speculation continues and many people wonder where is all the money going and if they aren’t using it to serve their customers then what are they doing with it all?

Well, you might be surprised that when the airlines list their biggest expense they list labor as the largest amount that they pay out annually. It seems rather odd that if they are paying this many people to work for them that they could get the occasional friendly person or at least one who knows who how to smile on occasion. It is difficult to believe that this is their largest expense so let’s just take a look a little further.

Their second highest expense is fuel. Fuel? Well, this is an interesting fact to consider. Oil prices are down and still this is one of their highest expenses? Interesting.

So what isn’t a top priority? Well, only things like plane maintenance, purchasing new aircrafts, and you. Other than that the commercial airlines have you covered. Now this information is based on what the airlines say are their biggest expenses but it is rumored that the airlines collectively spend billions of dollars trying on politics and getting what they want in the way of laws. So maybe the truth is that the commercial airlines really don’t need to business that they are getting from you, perhaps the real money comes out of the legislation that they are getting passed in favor of them each year.

It doesn’t seem like things are going to be getting any better down the road so it may be best to put your money in the hands of the private jet industry at least when you charter a plane you know that you will be getting what you pay for. That’s more than the commercial airlines can offer you.
