FLYING OFF THE HANDLE WITH COMMERCIAL AIRLINE TRAVEL

The commercial airlines are in big trouble at least when it comes to customer satisfaction in a recent poll of commercial airline customers many would prefer a trip to the dentist over a day spent flying commercially. This is mostly due to the endless hassles and daunting delays that they face in the course of an average travel day.

dark_blue_sky It used to be that the commercial airlines were friendly and accommodating but those days have long since fallen by the wayside and have left most customers with a bad taste in their mouths. It can be difficult to feel good in a system that barely acknowledges your existence.

Many people have become frustrated because the airlines blame so many of their problems on the fact of having to increase security since the terrorist attacks of September 11, 2001, however this really should be having little effect on the way in which they greet and care for their customers. After all, a smile does not in anyway prohibit keeping the aircraft secure.

For some unknown reason people have lost their humanness in the eyes of the airlines and it seems no matter what you ask them for at the ticket counters or on board your flight you are greeted by someone who makes you feel as if your presence is some type of inconvenience. It is a sad statement but one that has become more the norm then the exception these days.

And the rising cost of flying seems insane which is another reason that many people are sick of flying commercially. After all we already pay an extra fee for security so why have the prices on airline tickets skyrocketed so terribly in the past decade? Honestly, what is the reasoning behind the rising cost of traveling in this way? Well, if you are looking for a straight answer then you probably won’t be getting one from the commercial airline industry any time soon.

All in all, the general public is just completely fed up with overpriced flights, lack of customer service, and a feeling of overall complacency on behalf of the commercial airlines. It leaves a person to wonder how it is they are making money with so many people moving away from traveling in this way?
