Unauthorized instruction leads to crash

Aircraft: Piper Super Cub. Injuries: 2 Fatal. Location: Sikeston, Mo. Aircraft damage: Destroyed. What reportedly happened: The 55-year-old pilot/owner held ATP, multi-engine, commercial and seaplane ratings, as well as A&P ratings, but did not have a CFI certificate. The 48-year-old pilot-rated passenger held multi-engine and instrument ratings. He was in the front seat, while the owner was in the back seat providing instrument to the pilot-rated passenger.
