Alaska’s Congressional delegation triple teams issues

Alaska has long loved — and relied on — aviation. The state boasts more private pilots than any other state, and 10% of state's workforce is connected to the aviation industry. That's why it makes sense that Alaska's congressional delegation — Sens. Lisa Murkowski and Mark Begich and Rep. Don Young — have all vigorously defended aviators recently, according to a report in the Alaska Dispatch. A hot issue is the future of 100LL, the story notes. "In Alaska, banning avgas wouldn't just ground general aviation aircraft, it would have a major impact on daily life in many rural Alaska communities disrupting commerce and costing Alaska jobs," the story quotes Begich.
