When news of Cirrus Aircraft’s sale to a Chinese company broke last winter, its officials said not to worry: The Duluth-based airplane maker’s plant and its jobs would stay in Duluth. According to a story in the Duluth News-Tribune, concerns persisted among employees, as well as in the local community, that a verbal commitment wasn't enough.
