Pilot flies to 50 airports to celebrate 50th birthday

Pilot James Oliphant celebrated his 50th birthday recently by flying to 50 airports in Kansas, as close to his May 19 birthday as possible, according to a story in the Wichita Eagle, which noted Oliphant also raised about $5,000 for the American Cancer Society. Oliphant, who works for an aircraft insurance agency, flew more than 1,100 miles to 50 airports in 11 hours. Read the full story here.   Continue Reading »
