Air India Express to rebrand as 'Express India' and enter domestic market

© Centre for Asia Pacific Aviation.Air India is considering plans to rebrand Air India Express and Alliance Air as "India Express" as part of restructuring efforts that will also see Air India Express relocate its base from Mumbai and launch domestic routes. Air India COO Gustav Baldauf confirmed: “Air India is considering a new name for Air India Express as a part of rebranding. We will also appoint a consultant (for the rebranding).”
