LSA Expo shapes up

Things are shaping up for the US Sport Aviation Expo, slated for Jan. 21-24, 2010, at Sebring Regional Airport in Sebring, Florida.

The number of exhibitors continues to grow, according to organizers, who note new vendors, such as Van’s Aircraft, will be present, while previous exhibitors will be introducing new models. New sponsors, including Remos Aircraft, Tecnam Aircraft and AeroShell, join Cessna, Aircraft Spruce, Teledyne Continental Motors and MATCO Manfacturing to support the show, which remains focused on Light Sport Aircraft and the Sport Pilot certificate. The show includes trikes, power parachutes, gyros, electric aircraft and both factory-built and kit LSAs.

“We approach our sixth event with anticipation of an outstanding show,” says Bob Wood, the event chairman. “We continue our focus on providing an outstanding venue for comparing LSAs available in the US market and learning about the associated items, such as supplies and equipment, avionics, engines, training and maintenance. As in the past, our volunteer staff will focus on making this a visitor and exhibitor friendly event.”

The Experimental Aircraft Association (EAA) will once again organize free educational forums for the show.
