GEU under fire after jury award, FAA finding

Lax enforcement of rules at Glendale Municipal Airport (GEU) in Arizona could cost the city a significant chunk of money, according to a story in the Tucson Citizen. The problems include a jury award of $1.8 million to Valley Aviation Services, a company that rents out hangars at the airport, after the jury found that the city discriminated against the company, as well as anĀ  FAA finding that the city "potentially endangered safety at the airport by allowing some hangar owners to store non-aviation items, including an armored SWAT truck.
